Sally was a special person. She and my cousin in Boston were close friends. I enjoyed sitting with her at the reunion and having dinner several times before she remarried and moved to Alabama. She remains in our hearts. "Sunset on this land is Sunrise in the next..."
I am so saddened by this news about Sally's passing. Although I new her at Fairmont, my fondest memories are the wonderful time both my wife Caren and I had with Sally at our last reunion. She was so much fun with hugs and more hugs everytime we saw that weekend. I was hoping to see her again in 2019.
I did not know Sally well, but there was a very striking kindness about her that I always felt was quite rich and genuine. It felt like she was asking nothing back and just reflected who she truly was and how she felt about others. Condolences to her family and loved ones. And to all of us for losing this precious gift.
I was sad to hear of Sally's passing. I remember her with great admiration. Lots of her friends, including me, oftened called her "Mother", because she seemed so much older and wiser. (She probably thought of us as inmature! We certainly acted that way most of the time! :) Sally had a beautiful smile (and hair!) and an infectious laugh. Several classmates had shared with me that as an adult she practiced a strong faith in God as Healer. RIP Sally. You are completely healed now and I am blessed to have known you. Fondly, Midge
How sad. She was such a kind and wonderful person. I missed our 50th as I was out of the country and I was so looking forward to seeing her in 2019! A hui hou Sally...
