Loran died October 29, 2023 in West Carrollton where he lived. He was retired from the West Carrollton Parchment Co and West Carrollton Volunteer Fire department. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Grorgiana, two sons, one sister (Sue), three brothers (Larry, Gary, and Donnie), three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. His brother, Ronnie, preceded him in death.
