I have fond memories of Nancy and Paul.  They shared a love for adventure, outgoing personalities, unique voices and beautiful smiles . . . .to mention a few.  I recall how tragic it was that Paul died 2 years before our 40th reunion.   I saw Nancy (She and Paul lived two blocks from my parents house.) shortly after our 40th and she shared that she was fighting a similiar battle with cancer as my sister was.   Needless to say,  I was saddened to hear that she passed away in 2010 at the Hospice where she had been working.   I wish I could have visited her during her final days and thanked her for being a blessing to me at a tragic time in my life.

I will always be grateful for Nancy coming to the intensive care at Miami Valley where my brother was taken after his car accident in 1973.  She visited the three days we were there and offered to stay while we said our good-byes. Her presence was a God-ordained blessing to me and my family.  I can still feel her comforting hugs and hear her reassuring words.  I'm sure Nancy blessed hundreds of patients and families during her nursing career and that she and Paul left a legacy of strength and courage to their children and grandchildren.

We'll miss you Nancy and Paul at our 50th.   I praise God that I have the Hope of seeing you again.
