September 29, 2014 DDN reports Jane's death September 24, 2014 just three weeks after she attended our 50th reunion party.She is survived by one daughter, Amber Hamilton.
I am so saddened by Jane's passing. I called her several times during my name badge making, making certain I made name badges correctly for her daughter and son-in-law, who were escorting her to our reunion events. She said she does not get around very well and was so appreciative that I would make name badges for her, as well as her daughter, and her son-in-law. She signed up to go to the football game, as well as the dinner at Moraine, with her family escorting her. She told me she wouldn't miss our 50th reunion for the world! It was such a blessing having Jane and her family with us at our 50th reunion. What precious memories! We'll miss her very much! God's Blessing!
I saw Jane across the room from where we were sitting. I didn't get over to where she was to say "hi". I now regret not doing this. I guess we never stop learning. Take the time to greet those whose path crosses yours.
