Does anyone remember when Charlie Bossi passed? I think it was 1964. The last thing I remember about him was waiting in the car as Charlie went into a carryout to get some beer.
Charlie and I were in kindergarden together at Dorothy Lane school. Our classroom was on the auditorium stage. I still have that class picture taken on the front school steps. He looked the same then as he did in high school, only taller.
I am trying to remember, but I think Charlie did pass away the year we graduated. I have so many great memories of him. I think the one that stands out the most is our Hi-Y group was planting tree saplings one Saturday morning (in or around Kettering) out in a non populated area. It started off a bit chilly when we started, but by noon the temp had warmed up to the point we were all hot and tired. Well, Charlie had taken off in that Cadillac he used to drive and when he came back he had procured multiple 6 packs of Carling Black Label beer. I don't think a beer ever has tasted as good and cold as the ones Charlie picked up for us that morning - thanks again, Charlie, for all the great memories.

charles bossi died 6/3/70 . he is buried in davids cemetery ,section L ,lot 970 ,space :4 born 8/3/ 46. may god bless his soul.
