BEATTY, Lawrence E., passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010. Larry proudly served his country in the Marine Corp in the Vietnam campaign and worked in the tool and die industry in Dayton. I didn’t see or talk to Larry except at our every ten year reunions. In 2004, we shared stories about our old football days and our experiences in Vietnam. Larry was an outstanding natural athlete, with a heart and spirit of a true Dragon. I am proud to have known Larry.
